Uttrakhand is naturally blessed with beauty of magnificent hills, pollution free air, flora and fauna exclaiming our souls and humbleness of beautiful local beautiful. The absence of good employment opportunities has been compelling stocks of locals to migrate to bigger cities and do menial jobs for survival.
Mission of Uttrakhand Palayanrodhi Trust (UPT) is to provide opportunities to the people living in remote hilly pockets of Uttrakhand, so that they do not opt to migrate and survive on petty jobs with a compromised dignity. We Uttrakhandi people should convert the blessings of Mother Nature and give tourists a taste of our religious, adventurous and humble land. - says Mr. Kamal Kant Singh, Chairman of UPT.
Romanch Giri is a project of UPT to mobilise economics in the area of Dadamandal, Yamkeshwar. A mountain village little unknown, yet very close to hustle bustle of Haridwar-Rishikesh, and sitting just next to famous Rajaji National Park. Profits from Romanch Giri Adventure Park will be spent by UPT to improve healthcare and educational infrastructure in the area.
